I took my husband tonight for an after work treat as he has not found any sushi in the UK so far that he has really loved. The quality of the fish is incredible and I haven't seen anything like it even in London. I thought it was delicious and as someone who isnt a huge fish person, that is saying something. My husband is unbelievably impressed and was telling me how happy he is on the drive home. The staff were so friendly and it was a genuinely lovely experience, there is nothing i would change.
This is the best sushi place I’ve tried in the UK. I had been craving sushi for a long time but couldn’t find a single place that served proper sushi, so I had kind of given up. Then I heard about this amazing place that uses fresh fillets instead of frozen fish—and it truly is the best sushi I’ve had in this country. It’s on the same level as what you’d get in Japan or Korea. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for genuine sushi and sashimi.
We had a lovely time at Rye Sushi, I had Spicy spring onion Tuna Hosamaki (left)& Spicy Salmon avocado Uramaki (right) sushi rolls which were beautifully presented and tasted amazing, my partner had Katsu curry which was a lovely big portion, the chicken was lovely and crispy , sauce was amazing - very good value for money will definitely be coming back:)

First: apologies for the pictures of half eaten food! Second: it was delicious. For my part the best Katsu curry I’ve tasted in some time. My partner’s sushi was a hit too. Satisfyingly large portions for a hungry family meant we left feeling very satiated. Atmosphere is very chilled and service was excellent. Thoroughly recommend.
Visited Rye in February and ate at Rye Sushi. Not only was the food delicious, but Adam really enhanced our dining experience. By far one of the best service I’ve received in any restaurant in the UK. He was so kind and sweet, gave us recommendations on what to do in Rye, kept us engaged with very interesting stories and even gave us a water bottle for the rest of your journey!! Such a lovely joint, I would 100% recommend!
Recently only discovered this place and Iv already returned 3 times and had 3 orders to take out. Only the freshest ingredients used, top class presentation, wonderful atmosphere with excellent customer service. Will adjust dishes to preference without any fuss. Top quality food great portion sizes. Will be returning again very soon! Great job Rye Sushi
